Najnovija nosiljka nagrađivanog europskog proizvođača nosiljaka zove se Quick i na njoj ima nekoliko noviteta vezanih uz samo podešavanje.
ISARA se s novom Quick priključuje trendu pojednostavljivanja nosiljaka kako bi bile dostupnije širim masama ljudi. Očekivano, Quick je polukopčajuća nosiljka (eng. half buckle), kao i npr. nova Manduca Twist, no sa sasvim drugačijim, nimalo manje zanimljivim, a sasvim drugačijim podešavanjem.
Panel se preklapa preko pojasa i čičkom se učvršćuje u dva označena polja. Time se regulira duljina panela, dubina i širina sjedišta. Ovo rješenje je izuzetno jednostavno, no Isara ga se prva dosjetila. Moram reći da predviđam novu nagradu za Monicu Olariu, savjetnicu za nošenje, vlasnicu branda ISARA i dizajnericu ISARA nosiljaka.
Quick ima tvrdi i zaobljeni pojas kako bi dao potporu i malim tenkićima, a materijal i panel toliko je prilagodljiv da je odličan i za malu novorođenčad. Ova “one size” nosiljka bliža je veličini “baby“, no odlična je i s malim gegavcima. Preporučljiva je za terminske bebe teške barem 3 kilograma, a sama nosivost testirana je na čak 20 kilograma.
Isprobala sam ju sa svojim mlađim sinom starim 1.5 g. i teškim 14.7 kg, te s otežanim demo lutkama za nošenje u veličinama novorođenčeta i bebe stare 3.5 mj.
Quick je s tenkićem bila udobna i na leđima. Kao što se vidi iz priloženog, moguće je i vrlo visoko vezanje.
Quick je izuzetno udobna nosiljka s “niskoprofilnim sportskim tenkićem” (ref. na legendarni britanski sitcom ‘Allo ‘Allo!), no odlično se ponaša i s novorođenčetom.
Same upute su vrlo detaljno objašnjene u maloj knjižici, uz prateće pregledne slikovne upute u boji, s ponekim zgodnim trikom za udobnije korištenje nosiljke. Naravno postoji i šalabahter ušiven u sam pojas nosiljke.
Svi koji su pomalo zazirali od The One jer im se bez dostupne savjetnice za nošenje činila jako komplicirana, Quick će doista biti brza: sa stvarno minimalnim podešavanjem vrlo laka, jednostavna i razumljiva za korištenje.
Ono što svatko prvo primjeti kada Quick uzme u ruke jest koliko je nosiljka mekana. Nije potrebno baš nikakvo dodatno razrađivanje kako bi Quick bila ugodna i najmanjim bebama. Vjerujem da će mnogim roditeljima prvi izbor biti baš polukopčajuća nosiljka jer ju je lako, bez dodatnih podešavanja, dijeliti između svih članova obitelji. Povezivanje s novom bebom nije samo za mame!
Review of soft structured carrier: ISARA Quick Half Buckle Carrier
The brand new carrier from an award-winning European baby carrier manufacturer.
I had a great honour to be one of the first people to review the new Quick carrier from the bespoke Romanian manufacturer ISARA. The carrier is made from very soft and pliable material, woven from organic cotton under their own brand.
The new carrier from award winning European carrier manufacturer is called Quick and has several novelties regarding achieving the best fit.
ISARA is joining the trend of simplifying carriers, so they can be accessible to a wide array of pleople. As expected, Quick is a half buckle carrier, like the Manduca Twist, but with a completely different, no less interesting, but completely different adjustments.
The panel folds across the waistband, and it is attached with velcro to two marked areas. This regulates thelength of the panel, depth and width of the seat. The solution is quite simple, but yet ISARA thought of it first. I have to say I see a new reward for Monica Olariu, a babywearing consultant, ISARA brand owner, and designer of ISARA carriers.
Quick has a firm and rounded waistband that gives supports even to chunky babies. The material and panel are so adjustable that it is a also a suitable carrier for newborns. This “one size” carrier is closer to a “baby“size, but it is great for toddlers as well. It is recommended for healthy full-term babies that are at least 3 kilos heavy, and it was tested to carry up to 20 kilos.
For a big toddler, with height and weight of a two-year-old, the panel reaches up to his armpits, and the extra support for a sleepy head comes from the detachable hood.
I have tried Quick with my younger son who is 1,5 years old and that weights 14,7 kilos, and also with weighted demo dolls in the sizes of a new-born size and a 3,5 months old baby.
Quick is very comfortable in a back carry with a chunky baby. As it can be seen, it can be carried quite high on the back.
On the back you can do all of the ‘‘fancy finishes’’, typical for a meh dai carrier, and other half buckle carriers.
Quick is a very comfortable carrier with “Low profile sports tank” (ref. on the legendary British sitcom ‘Allo ‘Allo!), but it performs very well with a newborn too.
Dominika Matijaš, the owner of the Eko-butik webshop and importer of ISARA carriers, helped me to try Quick with the demo doll in the newborn size. Newborn can be carried by crossing the straps over the legs, or by crossing the under the legs.
The manual is explained in detail in a small booklet, with accompanying pictures in full color, also with a few practical tips how to adjust the carrier for an even more comfortable use. There is, of course, a “cheat sheet” sewn on the waistband of the carrier. 😊
All of the people who where a little wary of The One because it seemed complicated to adjust without a babywearing consultant, Quick will be quite easy*: with only minimal adjustment, simple and self-explanatory for a beginner babywearer.
The first thing that anyone who holds Quick in his/her hands, is notice how soft the material is. It does not take any extra breaking-in to make Quick comfortable for even the smallest babies. I believe that a half buckle carrier will be a first choice for many parents and caregivers, because it can be easily shared with family members and friends, without extra adjustments. Bonding with a new baby is not reserved only for the mothers!
*Isara’s HQ changed the name of the carrier from Isara IZI to Isara Quick:
